Job Vacancy – Junior Digital Marketer

Our client, a leading ICT solutions company that deals with helping enterprises run businesses by providing end-to-end technology products and solutions, is seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill the following position based in Westlands, Nairobi:

JUNIOR DIGITAL MARKETER

Reporting to the Graphic Designer, the incumbent will you will be required to devise unique campaign ideas to market our products and services, manage social media and email marketing, proofread and edit marketing materials and set up email campaigns. They will also ensure tracking marketing campaigns to ensure it attracts, reach, and engage with the company’s target customers across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and managing social media marketing campaigns and email marketing campaigns to aid in promoting products or services using MailChimp.

• Developing and promoting relevant content topics through social media advertising to attract and engage with the company’s target customers.

• Managing e-communications through responding to social media inquiries while cultivating sales leads and building strong relationships with customers.

• Writing accurate marketing literature for company brochures and press releases.

• Creating or maintaining a database of emails for generating sales leads.

• Conducting market research/competitor analysis to identify industry best practices and target audiences for different products/services, thus ensuring campaign success.

• Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing or any other relevant field.

• At least one year of experience in digital marketing, with specialisation in email and social media marketing.

• Excellent writing and editing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge in design is an added advantage.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

• Passion for technology with a willingness to learn new and emerging trends and technologies.
