Job Vacancy – Junior Digital Marketer
Our client is a leading ICT solutions provider. They are seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill the following position based in Nairobi:
JUNIOR DIGITAL MARKETER.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing unique campaign and marketing ideas and also assisting the marketing team by performing a variety of tasks, including creating content for social media. The job holder will also be in charge of writing advertisement copies, identifying target audiences for various marketing initiatives, proofreading, and editing marketing materials, and setting up email campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with marketing professionals to develop, execute, and manage social media and email marketing campaigns aimed at promoting products or services.
- Developing and promoting relevant content topics through social media advertising to attract, reach, and engage with the company’s target customers across all digital channels.
- Creating and publishing daily content, including original text, images, videos, or blog posts, while actively engaging the online community, encouraging interaction, and managing communication across all social media platforms.
- Overseeing digital communications by responding to social media and email inquiries, nurturing sales leads, and fostering strong customer relationships.
- Writing marketing literature for company brochures and press releases.
- Conducting market research/competitor analysis to identify industry best practices and target audiences for different products/services, thus ensuring campaign success.
- Creating or maintaining a database of emails for generating sales leads.
- Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- A minimum of a Diploma in Marketing or any other relevant field.
- At least one year of experience in Digital Marketing with specialization in email and social media marketing.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, including proficiency in creating and editing high-quality, engaging videos.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and designing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as interdependently.
- Passion for technology with a willingness to learn new and emerging trends and technologies.
