The Company is seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill the following position based in Nairobi: 

FISCAL IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT CONSULTANT

Reporting to the Project Lead in the Software Department, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing and supporting Tax Invoice Management Systems (TIMS), integrating fiscal solutions with ERP systems, and providing technical assistance to clients.    

Key Responsibilities 

  • Consulting on Tax Invoice Management System (TIMS) solutions, installing and configuring invoice capture applications, and integrating invoice capture applications.
  • Providing training to users on TIMS functionality, upgrading and maintaining invoice capture applications, and managing and integrating QuickBooks, QBO, and Xero Accounting with TIMS.
  • Assisting with E-TIMS onboarding, installation, and integration with QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel Parser.
  • Assisting in direct system integration support for SAP, Standard ERP, and Microsoft Navision, and installing and integrating Tango Pay system.
  • Providing helpdesk support for TIMS-related issues, troubleshooting Type C device network and connectivity issues resulting in transmission problems.
  • Upgrading firmware to ensure smooth TIMS device operation. 

 

Key Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies 

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fiscal solutions implementation, IT support, or ERP integration.
  • Possessing strong knowledge of TIMS, E-TIMS, and fiscal device configurations.
  • Having experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Hansa, Microsoft Navision, Xero, etc.) and proven expertise in Java (J2EE), C#, and Python development.
  • Being proficient in network troubleshooting and IT security configurations.
  • Demonstrating excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Being able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong IT skills, troubleshooting expertise, and experience in software and fiscal device configuration
