Job Vacancy – ERP Implementation and Support Consultant

The Company is seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill the following position based in Nairobi:
ERP IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT CONSULTANT
Reporting to the Project Lead in the Software Department, the incumbent will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their business processes, configure ERP solutions, provide training, and offer ongoing support to ensure optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing client business requirements and configuring Tango POS, Standard ERP, and IDOL POS to align with their operations.
- Setting up ERP modules, including financial management, inventory, sales, and reporting, assisting with data migration, system integration, and workflow customization, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications and payment systems.
- Ensuring timely and successful project delivery within scope and budget, and maintaining detailed documentation on system configurations, user guides, and support manuals.
- Conducting user training sessions for clients on ERP functionalities and best practices, providing post-implementation support to troubleshoot system issues, and offering expert guidance on ERP upgrades and enhancements.
- Monitoring ERP performance and optimizing configurations to enhance efficiency, assisting in deploying software patches, updates, and security enhancements, and working with clients to understand their operational challenges and proposing tailored ERP solutions.
- Leading ERP demonstrations, pre-sales consultations, and proposal development.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in ERP implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems/ SAP Business 1 system implementation.
- Strong understanding of business processes in retail, distribution, and financial management.
- Basic accounting knowledge is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer engagement skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, database management, and system integration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
