Job Vacancy – Clinic Nurse

Our client in the health industry which offers medical and cosmetic treatments, is seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill in the following position based in Nairobi.

CLINIC NURSE

The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of patient care which includes clinical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining patient satisfaction by establishing rapport and providing suitable treatments promptly.
  • Performing cosmetic services and treatments alongside the lead Surgeon and Dermatologists.
  • Consulting, scheduling, and screening patients before delivering services, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Educating patients on additional services and assisting Consultants with procedures and surgeries.
  • Sterilizing instruments, maintaining aesthetic equipment and treatment rooms’ cleanliness.
  • Updating medical reports in the EMR system after attending to the patients.
  • Managing consumables inventory, placing orders, and protecting patient confidentiality and property.
  • Coordinating work and patients’ schedules through communication with staff members.
  • Attending mandatory medical and operations meetings, and pursuing training for professional development.
  • Renewing practicing licenses regularly and compiling SOPs for relevant procedures.
  • Conducting relevant trainings to new and existing team members as required and performing other related duties.

 

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered nurse with current licensure with Nursing Council of Kenya
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a busy healthcare facility.
  • Possesses a certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Demonstrates evidence-based knowledge in Medical-Surgical nursing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Builds friendly relationships with patients and their dependents.
  • Proficient in patient teaching and coaching.
  • Exhibits strong teamwork, compassion, and exceptional organizational skills.
