Job Vacancy – Manager – Advertising & Media Management Sales

Our client, PMS Group Ltd is a marketing company that creates, defines, evolves, and delivers 360-degree marketing concepts and solutions. The company through its subsidiary, is seeking to recruit a highly qualified professional to fill the following position at their office in Nairobi, Kenya.


Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing media planning, buying, selling, and monitoring of advertising. Designing and implementing advertising sales and marketing strategies for clients and in-house media. 

They will be responsible for generating client leads and offering good customer service satisfaction to both existing and prospective clients. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring revenue generation whilst delivering client value for the agency through overseeing the achievement of set targets.


  • Developing and implementing advertising marketing media campaigns from conceptualization to completion based on client needs.
  • Managing teams to deliver growth of revenue generation streams through budget management, price setting, and meeting the set sales targets by the team.
  • Communicating regularly with clients and management to discuss advertising projects’ progress and resolve any arising issues. 
  • Identifying and developing innovative advertising opportunities for products and services offered by the company and presenting them to company executives and management.
  • Negotiating contracts with clients on behalf of the company and in accordance with the company’s overall objectives. 
  • Coordinating with the creative, production, and management departments in developing advertisement materials and attractive marketing concepts.
  • Attending networking events such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences, seminars, and meetings with external company partners to promote the company/product/service offered and management of the sales pipeline.
  • Conducting analyses and evaluations of advertising sales approaches and suggesting effective improvements.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, or any other related field. 
  • A minimum of 4 years work experience in advertising sales. 
  • Proven experience in media planning, buying, and/or advertising.
  • A successful track record of influencing, meeting, and exceeding advertising sales targets 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
